The bathroom had both a shower and a bath, which was great! I love having options for my daily clean-up routine, especially after a long day of exploring Lochs. It felt like a little slice of luxury, just for me.
Personally, I found the lighting in the bathroom a bit dim. But hey, that's just me being picky.

The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, with peaceful views of a picturesque loch and abundant birdlife. The cottage is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it feel just like home. The welcome hamper was a delightful surprise, and Jennifer, the host, was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. The beds were super comfy and the linens and towels were luxuriously soft. The kitchen had all the amenities we could ask for and more, and there was ample hot water for a relaxing bath or shower. The internet connection was excellent, and the selection of DVDs and books about the island provided great entertainment. The cottage also had a lovely sun house and drying lines for laundry. The location was perfect, offering tranquility and stunning views while still being within easy reach of local amenities. The presence of friendly hens and fresh eggs added to the charm. a mind-blowingly beautiful and peaceful stay with wonderful added touches that made it truly memorable.

Stayed at a lovely cottage in a central location on Lewis and Harris, perfect for outdoor activities like swimming and walking. the hosts were friendly and even provided fresh eggs from their chickens. the cottage itself was well-furnished, well-equipped, and easy to heat. the surroundings were peaceful with beautiful views of a lochan, offering opportunities to see wildlife.
There was also a unique feature in the village worth exploring. Cons: Nothing, no complaints at all.

I had an incredible stay at a charming cottage nestled at the end of a peaceful village. The view of the loch from the sitting room was simply breathtaking, and the location was perfect for exploring the island. The cottage was equipped with everything I could possibly need, from high-quality furnishings to a well-stocked kitchen. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the host, Jennifer, was exceptional. I truly felt spoiled during my stay. I can't recommend this property highly enough. I will definitely be returning.
I will say that the kitchen/living area was cozy, so it may be a bit tight for more than three adults. Additionally, the shower wasn't very powerful, and there wasn't always enough hot water for everyone.

My recent stay at Grey Goose Cottage was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had chosen the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The location was stunning, with beautiful views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. The cottage itself was so cozy and well-equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linens and towels provided were soft and luxurious. I also appreciated the little touches, like the fresh milk, coffee, eggs, and bread left for me to enjoy. The kitchen had everything I needed and more, although it was a bit small for someone who loves to cook like me. However, I managed to whip up some delicious meals, especially with the fresh seafood I bought in Stornoway. The shower could have been more powerful, and the hot water wasn't always sufficient for three people, but these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall wonderful experience. I also loved the sun house, where I could sit and soak in the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and I truly felt well taken care of during my stay. The free range hens roaming around added to the charm of the place, and I even got to collect some fresh eggs each day. The internet connection was excellent, and there was a great selection of DVDs and books to enjoy. I can't recommend Grey Goose Cottage enough. It exceeded all my expectations and provided me with a truly memorable vacation.
